OVERVIEW
DevCAFE is implementing the project “Gender and Intersectional Research and Capacity Enhancement and Support Networks for Women MSMEs” under the Regional Trade for Development (RT4D) Facility and the RCEP Implementation Support Program, in partnership with the Export Marketing Bureau of the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry and with oversight from DFAT. Implemented from December 2025 to July 2026, the project aims to increase women’s participation in international trade by addressing gendered and intersectional barriers faced by women-led and women-owned MSMEs. DevCAFE leads participatory gender research, stakeholder mapping and consortium development, export-readiness and networking workshops in key Philippine cities, and the production of practical knowledge products, including guidebooks, videos, and evaluation reports. The project strengthens institutional capacity and coordination among government agencies, business support organizations, and NGOs while equipping women MSMEs with the knowledge, networks, and tools needed to effectively leverage FTAs such as RCEP.
